The Driscoll Public AI Service Terms

These terms apply to the public AI-readable information and Model Context Protocol service provided by The Driscoll on Fitzroy, including https://the-driscoll.com/mcp (the Public AI Service).

Purpose and permitted use

The Public AI Service provides read-only public information about The Driscoll, indicative availability information, authorised booking links and guest-support information. It may be used by people, compatible AI services and software for ordinary accommodation research and guest assistance.

No booking or transaction

The Public AI Service does not accept, create, hold, modify or confirm a reservation; take payment; provide a final guest price; send booking-platform messages; or access private booking records. Availability and any nightly rates are indicative only. Final availability, pricing, fees, cancellation terms and booking confirmation must be checked on an authorised booking platform.

Guest support limits

Guest-support information is limited to ordinary guest-safe guidance. The service cannot inspect or control the property, reset or reconfigure equipment, disclose credentials or access information, or replace emergency, trade or professional assistance.

Stop using equipment if there is smoke, fire, sparking, a burning smell, flooding, exposed electricity, gas odour, injury risk or another immediate hazard. For an emergency in Australia, call 000. For unresolved non-emergency matters during a booked stay, contact the host through the booking platform message thread.

Privacy and prohibited information

Do not submit personal, confidential or sensitive information, including names, contact details, payment information, identity documents, booking references, health information, Wi-Fi passwords, access codes or entry instructions. Data handling is described in The Driscoll’s Privacy Statement at https://the-driscoll.com/privacy/. A third-party AI service or software used to access the Public AI Service may separately process information under its own terms and privacy policy.

Acceptable use

Do not use the Public AI Service to:

  • obtain or infer private guest, reservation, access, security or smart-home information;
  • control, reset, reconfigure, probe or interfere with property equipment or systems;
  • bypass technical limits, security controls or access restrictions;
  • introduce malicious, deceptive or irrelevant instructions through search text, dates, error messages or other tool inputs;
  • make excessive automated requests or otherwise impair the service or website; or
  • misrepresent an indicative result as a confirmed reservation, final price, owner statement or guarantee.

Accuracy and availability

Reasonable care is taken to maintain the Public AI Service, but public facts, availability, prices, third-party links and technical services can change. The service may be incomplete, temporarily unavailable or superseded by the authorised booking platform, booking terms, stay information or a direct owner or property-manager communication.

Intellectual property

The Public AI Service and its contents may be used to answer ordinary questions about The Driscoll and assist with an authorised stay. No ownership is transferred, and the contents may not be republished as a competing database or used in a misleading manner.

Changes and suspension

The Driscoll may update, limit or suspend the Public AI Service or these terms to maintain accuracy, safety, security, compliance or service quality.

Consumer rights

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including any applicable right under the Australian Consumer Law.
